In designing my rule document, I had a number of limitations due to my location and access to technology, including my normal design tools. I therefore decided to keep the rules document simple, using black and white tones only and maintaining the hand drawn DIY look of the cards
I divided the document into sections I will go over through this post.
Intro
The intro section introduces the game while lending a bit of flavour, and setting the tone of the game. It also defines the number of players and average play time.

Card Anatomy
The card anatomy section breaks down the card into it’s components so that new players can immediately know what each card does.

Roles section
Outlines the role mechanic of the game, what it does, and what each role is. With more time to design i would want to divide the section better and have icons for each role.

Setup
This section describes the actions taken by the players and setup steps required before the game starts. It’s pretty short as the game is very simple

Round section and Ending Game
The round section details the repeated steps taken by players each round and when and how to end the game, and determine the winning player.

Effect descriptions
Describes the effects of the two effect types in the game for players to reference during play if needed
